KM Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Residential Childcare Assessor/Trainer, requiring a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Manager in a Residential Children’s Home.
The role offers a salary ranging from £30,000 to £37,000, depending on qualifications and experience, with the potential to earn an additional £10,000 through an excellent bonus scheme.
Candidates should possess a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare and have a full, clean UK driving license with access to a vehicle.
Responsibilities include assessing and supporting learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships, managing documentation, and conducting online training sessions.
Full training and support to become a qualified Assessor will be provided, and the position is home/field-based, full-time, and permanent.

Hold strong, occupational competency at Management level within a Residential Childcare setting.
Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.

Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
