Role Overview: As a Director of Transaction Services, you will be a critical leader within the Reading office, overseeing the delivery of transaction-related projects. You will work closely with senior management and clients to provide strategic advice and manage complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial due diligence, and valuations. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the success of key clients and contribute to the growth of our client's practice in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage transaction services engagements, including buy-side and sell-side due diligence, financial modeling, and valuations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing insights on transaction strategies.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed due diligence reports, financial analyses, and transaction-related documentation.
  • Develop new business opportunities by leveraging existing networks and cultivating new client relationships in the Reading area.
  • Mentor and manage a team of talented professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends and regulatory developments, ensuring our services remain at the forefront of the market.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in transaction services, corporate finance, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
  • ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent is essential.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop junior team members.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
  • A deep understanding of the Reading and Thames Valley market, with established client relationships and a network of contacts.
