About the Job:This role supports the development of the people agenda by delivering expert and commercially focused HR guidance. You will play a key role across the employee life cycle and will be reporting to the HR Manager. This role will be based in Reading but travel to other centres across London as and when required so you must be a car driver.

Duties will include:

  • Managing recruitment processes from talent acquisition to onboarding.
  • Partnering with managers to handle employee relations, including performance, grievances, and reorganisations.
  • Supporting payroll and reward processes, ensuring fairness and benchmarking where needed.
  • Promoting employee engagement and wellbeing through policies and initiatives.
  • Ensuring HR compliance with legal and internal directives.
  • Enhancing HR administrative practices and maintaining up-to-date templates and records.

About the Successful Applicant:The ideal candidate will have at least five years of HR advisory experience, ideally within a fast-paced environment such as retail or hospitality. CIPD qualification is essential, along with strong employment law knowledge and a proven ability to manage complex employee relations cases. Excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also required.
