Job Title: Temporary HR Policy & Procedures Consultant (Band 6/7)Contract: 4-6 Weeks (extension TBC)Start Date: 24th February 2025

The Role:Working closely with the HR, ER and casework lead, you'll play a pivotal role in updating HR documentation to meet current legal and NHS standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Policy Review & Revision: Update and modernise HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and NHS guidelines (Agenda for Change).
  • Toolkit Development: Create and refine tool kits, templates, and flow charts.
  • Project Support: Lead additional projects, including drafting proposals for a 360-degree appraisal process for our board.
  • Collaborative Work: Engage with the manager and HR admin through IV Teams in a supportive, remote environment.

Working Arrangements:

  • Location: Remote working
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 5:00

  • Experience: Proven expertise in writing and revising HR policies within the NHS framework.
  • Competency: A Band 6/7 professional capable of navigating a busy, evolving HR environment.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Agenda for Change processes and up-to-date HR best practices.
  • Skills: Excellent written communication, analytical thinking, and project management.
  • Approach: A proactive, solution-oriented attitude, ready to make a real impact in a fast-paced role.
