Help Desk Technical Support Engineer - Silchester - On site with infrequent travel to customer sites - £30,000 to £35,000 per year
FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a leading Technology company to assist with their recruitment of a Help Desk Technical Support Engineer.
The successful candidate will provide enterprise-level technical assistance. This role will be a full-time position based out of their Silchester office.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Technical support to customers via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, software and hardware including desktops, monitors, printers, routers, firewalls and access points.
- Assist with setting up and configuring computer systems
- Conduct software troubleshooting and recommend solutions
- Assisting other team members including communicating company strategies, team goals and project deadlines
Experience/Qualification:
- 3+ years proven experience in a customer facing role
- VMWare ESX, vCentre and/ or Hyper-V
- Microsoft 365
- Sophos, Egnyte and Ubiquiti (beneficial)
- SharePoint, Teams and Intune
- Background of working for an MSP
