Looking for a Senior Project Manager/IT Delivery Lead for our huge client with experience in asset management and procurement process experience would be highly beneficial.

Duration - 6 months

Contract role - inside IR35

Location - Reading - 2 days onsite per week, 3 days WFH

Responsibilties-1) Responsible for leading the IT/Tech delivery for a number of deliveries as part of the Bridge Programme within the Works Execution CoE.2) Establish and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with delivery teams, stakeholders and business teams to ensure that requirements are delivered smoothly & effectively.3) Manage the IT delivery team, and wider stakeholders as required, across the end-to-end project lifecycle to ensure that resultant systems/services deliver the agreed outcomes, within budget and timescale, without introducing technical debt.4) Responsible for ensuring the acceptance into service is meet from an IT perspective.5) Analyse problems, action and progress issues as appropriate, ensuring follow through to resolution and removal of blockers.6) Act as a point of escalation for the project & business teams to ensure that project activity is able to progress at pace inline with the agreed project plan.7) Ensure proactive risk and issue management ensuring that the appropriate structures & governance standards are embedded & met utilising the skill, knowledge & expertise of the project team & business stakeholders.8) Ensure the identification of dependencies & proactive management of known dependencies so that they are delivered to meet the project & wider programme needs.9) Ensure that the team builds on lessons learnt to enable the project to move forward at pace & avoids encountering problems repeatedly.10) Ensure that appropriate governance is embedded & followed by all team members to support the needs of the Bridge Programme.11) Ensure weekly reports are completed on time & to the required standards to support the needs of senior managers & the Bridge Programme for agreed set of scope.12) Ensure that project costs are tracked as required to meet the needs of Finance & the Bridge Programme including forecast updates, review of actuals and the correct journals and accruals are complete. 13) Ensure the recruitment of required resources to meet the needs of delivering the agreed set of scope to the agreed time, cost & quality is completed in a timely manner.14) Ensure clear roles & responsibilities and RACI are established for all project & business team members to ensure that everyone has a clear purpose within the wider project team, duplication of effort is avoided & also ensure that any potential gaps are identified & filled.15) Ensure that a culture of psychological safety is established within the project team, `fairness, openness & that everyone's voice is heard' is established in the project team & with our stakeholders to ensure open engagement & positive challenge.16) Ensure the utilisation of ADO/ project management tools to meet the project needs for transparency of tracking progress of the detailed plan, risks & dependencies.17) Ensure all team members understand & support the delivery methodology, hybrid Agile & Waterfall practices, & how they will be utilised to meet the needs of the Bridge Programme.18) Ensure the creation of impact assessments/ options papers to support timely, effective & efficient decision making as & when appropriate through the appropriate governance forums
