Are you a recent graduate with a passion for town planning and an eagerness to develop your career within a leading consultancy? My client, a well-established and highly respected planning consultancy, is seeking a motivated Graduate Planner to join their dynamic team.



About the Company

With over 50 years of experience, my client provides high-quality, bespoke planning advice and support to property developers, private landowners, and individuals across the UK. Specialising in residential and mixed-use projects, they have a proven track record of navigating complex and often challenging planning scenarios to deliver successful outcomes.

Their services include:

  • Site appraisals and land searches

  • Planning strategy development

  • Pre-application submissions and negotiations

  • Planning applications and appeals

  • Expert witness services

  • Development plan promotions

  • Housing land supply advice

  • EIA screening and scoping advice



The Role

As a Graduate Planner, you will:

  • Assist in preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals.

  • Conduct research and site appraisals to support planning strategies.

  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.

  • Support the team in negotiating planning permissions.

  • Stay up to date with planning policies and regulations.

  • A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field (RTPI accredited preferred).

  • Strong analytical and research skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
