About the Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Lawyer to join our client's Child-Care Team on a 12-month contract to cover maternity leave. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable adults, children, and young people.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with colleagues to support families and avoid care proceedings.
- Commit to reclaiming PLO as a last point of hope for families.
- Adopt and promote Best Practice within the team.
- Work closely with the Child Care Court Teams.
- Handle a wide range of interesting and complex pre-proceedings/PLO cases.
- Engage with Children’s Services to take a holistic approach to problem-solving.
- Recognise and manage risks to ensure timely issuance of proceedings when necessary.
- Enthusiastic and committed to making a difference.
- Experience in handling pre-proceedings/PLO cases.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a holistic approach.
