About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Solicitor with 1+ years’ PQE who is eager to make an impact in the world of property development. You’ll join a vibrant, supportive team, working on high-profile development projects and advising housebuilders on a wide variety of matters. From negotiating land deals to guiding clients through complex planning agreements, you will play a key role in shaping exciting developments in the Thames Valley.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on High-Profile Projects: You will gain hands-on experience in the acquisition and disposal of development land, guiding clients through every stage of the transaction
- Diverse Legal Work: Draft and negotiate planning and infrastructure agreements, secured lending and easements – no two days will be the same!
- Residential Plot Sales: Oversee the sale of residential units, advising on legal compliance and getting a real sense of how developments come to life
- Growth and Learning: Develop your skills by working with senior partners and gaining exposure to complex legal matters, from Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) to Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT)
- Business Development: Bring fresh ideas and collaborate with the team to grow the firm’s presence in property development, with full marketing and business support to help you succeed
What We’re Looking For:
- 1+ Years PQE: A solid foundation in commercial property law, with experience in development or housebuilding work, is ideal
