Commercial Real Estate Associate Solicitor - Uxbridge or ReadingA leading law firm is seeking an Associate Solicitor to join its Commercial Real Estate team in either Uxbridge or Reading. With a reputation for delivering pragmatic and commercially astute solutions, the firm is also committed to giving back to the community through pro bono and outreach initiatives.The RoleThe successful candidate will work closely with the team leader (partner) and a strong team of solicitors, handling a diverse range of commercial real estate matters.Key responsibilities include:

  • Sales and purchases of commercial property
  • Property investment and asset management
  • Development transactions, including site assembly and planning agreements
  • Negotiating leases and leasehold documentation
  • Drafting and negotiating conditional contracts and option agreements
  • Secured lending transactions

This role involves high levels of client contact, ensuring a seamless and efficient client experience, while also playing a key role in business development and the strategic growth of the practice.Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor (4+ years PQE) with strong technical expertise in commercial real estate
  • Proven experience managing high-value property transactions
  • Ability to provide strategic and commercially focused legal advice
  • Strong file and risk management skills
  • Experience in business development and building client relationships
  • IT proficiency, including experience with document management and case management systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and flexible approach
  • Any local connections or a following would be an advantage but are not essential.
