Service Care Solutions is working with a Local Authority, based in Berkshire, which is in need of  a Senior Education Lawyer to join their Adult Social Care and Education team. In this role you will handle education legislation, in particular special education needs.ROLE: Senior Education LawyerLOCATION: Berkshire – hybrid working (office attendance roughly once per month)RATE: £55-£60phCONTRACT: 3 months, 37 hours a weekThe Role:
  • To manage a full caseload from inception to completion related to Education Law matters.
  • Cases will include SEN appeals, general education advice and judicial reviews.
  • Conduct special education needs appeals and to provide advice to a wide range of stakeholders.
The Person
  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with at least 3 years of PQE within Education Law.
  • Ideally have previous experience of working within a Local Authority or Public Body.
  • Have an excellent working knowledge in key education legislation.
