Legal Administrator - Community CareTSR Legal is delighted to be working with a highly regarded law firm in Reading, offering a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Administrator to join their friendly Community Care team.Reporting to the Senior Associate Legal Executive, the successful candidate will assist in managing client files, handling administrative tasks, and developing the necessary skills to provide proactive support to the team.This is a full-time role, requiring 2-3 days per week in the Reading office, with flexibility on which days are office-based. Opportunities for career progression may be available based on performance.
Experience & Attributes Required
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work independently on administrative elements of files.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to complete tasks allocated by team members in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate file and case management records.
- Provide administrative and document handling support to Fee Earners.
- Assist with diary management and billing administration.
- Support team members by covering holiday absences as required.
- Assist in achieving personal and team targets.
- Instruct agents as required by the team.
- Screen new potential clients.
- Depending on experience, support with ad hoc fee-earning tasks.
