The post holder's key duties are to control materials from suppliers to key internal departments. Key responsibilities will include:* Express delivery needs to Suppliers* Follow up deliveries and ensure the availability of goods for Alstom projects* Monitor Supplier's performances KPI's* Participate/lead to Supplier's performances improvement* Contribute with SC inputs for supplier selection* Internal suppliers: Manage Purchase Requisition flow up to Material Planning documents* External suppliers: Follow up with Sourcing the Purchase Requisition level maturity for launching Material Planning documents* Ensure and update the accuracy of material planning master data (in compliance with stock and logistic constraints)* Create the Material Planning documents (Call-off, Schedule Agreement) & respective Source List* Communicate the Material Planning documents to Suppliers and follow Suppliers confirmation* Analyse Suppliers confirmations vs. Alstom needs and evaluate the risk/impact anticipation on production/projects* Identify priorities associated with risk/impact anticipation and set up recovery actions* Analyse and manage MRP exception messages and anticipate supply problems (backlogs, shortages, no demand…).* Maintain delivery dates in terms of OTIF* Track missing parts until stock availability* Resolve Receiving issues (overstock, shortage, damage, documentation, etc.)* Analyse and share deliveries performances KPI's with different stakeholders (Internal & External)* Contribute to new business risk assessments and mitigation action planPersonal Profile:* Basic PC skills, i.e: Microsoft work/excel* Previous experience with SAP and/or Maximo systems would be advantageous * Must be self-motivated* Fluent in English with good communication skillsPLEASE NOTE ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUGS AND ALCOHOL TEST BEFORE BEING OFFERED A POSITION (this is standard procedure on Rail depots)Please note due to the volume of applications, we can only commit to contact those candidates we deem suitable for the position.
