The Company:

Our Client are a Large multi national business with over 10 sites in the UK that have continuously re-invested in their sites with added machinery and automation to streamline their processes making it a fantastic place to work as an Engineer. A business of this size is also able to offer great job stability and training opportunities for Engineers too. In the past they have sent Engineers on Electrical, Mechanical and PLC training courses to increase your skillset and knowledge.

The Role:

The Role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following responsibilities:

  • Reactive and Planned Maintenance on all of the production machinery
  • Electrical Fault Finding on Three Phase Motors, Sensors, Relays, Contactors, Invertors and more
  • Mechanically working with Gearboxes, Shafts, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Rollers, Belts, Bearings, Pulleys, Chains,
  • Stripping and Rebuilding Parts in the workshop when required
  • Coming up with Ideas for improvements that could be made to the machinery

The Candidate:

The right Candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will have/be

  • A recognised Engineering Qualification
  • Experience in the Field of Maintenance Engineering
  • Be able to confidently work Electrically and Mechanically
  • Work well alone or within a team
  • Work well in a high volume environment where time is of the essence
