We offer a specialist service in creating impactful digital signage in retail, hospitality and corporate environments, including Stadium LED, digital menu boards, bespoke retail displays, EOPS and touch-point ordering. Due to recent expansion, we are looking for an AV Site Manager to manage our team of AV engineers in Reading with warehouse responsibilities.
Role Requirements:
* Management of multiple projects across Digital Signage, VC and LED within the budgeted cost and to the satisfaction of the client.
* Plan a projects scheduling work and resources alongside the Operations Teams to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
* Ensure that the quality of the delivered system is maintained.
* Control and maintain the necessary project documentation in the job files.
* Ensure that the H&S files are in place for your projects and that safe systems of work are put in place.
* Understand how to identify and manage risks within a project.
* Ability to quickly prioritise and manage tasks needed for successful completion of projects, working with wider business teams to achieve the necessary objectives.
* Understand the contractual requirements of your projects.
* Be able to interpret customer requirements.
* Be able to accurately estimate the labour and materials costs of systems and apply self-learning to improve estimation for subsequent projects.
* To be ready to assist in installation of projects.
* Ensure quality standards are maintained in line with processes and objectives.
* Provide daily/weekly reports to the Senior Project Manager/Directors.
* Work with the Warehouse Manager in Manchester to agree road map for the deployment of WMS into the Reading Warehouse.
* Potential to Account Manage MOD projects.
* To provide cover for personnel on the BFC support contract.
Light Warehouse Duties
* Receiving and shipping deliveries on an ad hoc basis
* Regular stock checking and maintaining levels of stock.
* Preparing outgoing job kits and ensuring kit is available for engineers to collect.
* Nominal inventory of full warehouse stock
* General maintenance of warehouse space
Candidate Specification
Essential Requirements:
* Experience within a similar role working to strict SLA's.
* Experience managing or working in a field-based engineering role, across multiple site locations.
* Experience of using power tools and hand tools.
* Excellent communication skills, able to use initiative and professionalism.
* Experience of working within a team and individually.
* Full UK Driving License.
* Ability to commute to Reading daily.
* Experience of Digital Signage, Projectors, Video walls, LED.
* Knowledge of AV systems
Desired Requirements:
* Warehouse Responsibilities.
* Survey & Specification
* Active ECS or CSCS card, PASMA & IPAF
Skills Required:
* Good PC knowledge
* Excellent IT skills and knowledge of networks.
Hours: Monday - Friday 0800-17:00 with occasional weekend work.
