Our client is seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer to provide engineering support to the regional client portfolio including technical and engineering needs. They are successful HVAC company that owns 3 different manufacturers and operates across 65 countries and has been in operation for over 100 years.

They are currently looking for an Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join their team due to expansion across the UK. They are looking for an engineer who will travel across the M4 Corridor carrying out maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and fault diagnosing to Close Control VRV, VRF, Chillers, and Splits systems across their wide variety of contracts that range from Banks, insurance companies, data centres, and Airports

Air Conditioning Engineer - Job Overview

To attend sites and work closely with the regional service manager, to carry out planned preventative maintenance, repair, refurbishment, alteration, and modification to Close Control VRV, VRF, Chillers, and Splits systems.

Air Conditioning Engineer - Job Requirements
  • F- gas C&G 2079
  • Live in or around Reading area.
  • City and Guilds or NVQ 2 in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning
  • PASMA qualifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent fault diagnosis in Close Control, VRV, VRF, Chillers and Splits.
  • Minimum 5 years of working within the A/C service industry as a mobile service engineer
Air Conditioning Engineer - Salary & Benefits
  • Salary £43-48k based on experience
  • 50-hour contract, 10 hours is paid travel and 40-hour site time
  • All travel outside the 50 hours is paid at 1.5
  • Overtime: 1.5x Mon-Sat, 2x Sun/Bank Holidays
  • Company van - personal use to be discussed
  • 25 days holiday plus bank - option to purchase up to 5 more days
  • Call out 1-7 with £150 standby, overtime and travel pay
