Mechanical Engineer (Building Services)

Location: Reading Area (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to 40k

The Opportunity:
A well-established building services consultancy with over 50 years of success is looking for a Mechanical Engineer. Known for expertise in mission-critical and traditional sectors, including 40+ years in data center projects, this role is ideal for those wanting to expand into or refine their experience in diverse sectors. With an upcoming retirement, the consultancy is seeking a skilled leader to join its close-knit, forward-thinking team.

Responsibilities:

Produce Mechanical system designs across data centers, healthcare, and commercial developments.
Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
Work collabortively within a team of Mechanical and Electrcial teams.

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
CIBSE Chartership (ideal).
Knowledge of Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks (preferred).
Understanding of CIBSE guidelines and UK work rights.
Strong leadership and technical expertise in building services.
