Main responsibilities of the Project Engineer (Mechanical Design), based in Reading:

Manage projects and budgets
Review and understand customer requirements
Review and understand contractual agreements and ensure the company is meeting those agreements
Identify any contract risks and conduct risk assessments
Create project plans
Work to military standards
Conduct mechanical designs (concept development)

Requirements of the (Mechanical Design) based in Reading:

Has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or designing electro-mechanical systems
Has experience working in the aerospace and defence industry
Experienced in using AutoCAD Inventor or equivalent 3D CAD Software
