About the Role:

In this role, you'll be responsible for creating designs that ensure the utilities, infrastructure, engineering processes, equipment, and facilities meet all relevant legislation, standards, and requirements throughout their life-cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

This role has a mechanical bias. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer your main tasks will include developing designs that comply with legislative and standard requirements for utilities, infrastructure, engineering processes, equipment, and facilities. You'll work closely with multi-discipline groups to produce designs that span the entire life of an asset. It's crucial to maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality.

Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you'll need extensive knowledge of legislation and standards applicable to engineering design. Experience working within multi-discipline groups to produce designs across the life of an asset is also important. You should have a strong understanding of legislation and standards associated with nuclear and high hazard facilities. Maintaining high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality is a must.
