Laboratory Technician

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct experiments and tests with precision and accuracy.
  • Prepare samples and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Analyse data and report findings to support research initiatives.
  • Collaborate with scientists and other technicians to drive projects forward.
  • Conduct daily laboratory aseptic plant tissue culture techniques including light microscopy, plant dissection, plant embryo culture and flow cytometry.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in Laboratory Science or a related field.
  • Previous lab experience including chemical handling and aseptic technique
  • Basic understanding of laboratory health and safety protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
