A successful and oversubscribed school is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Teacher of Music and Drama to join their experienced team. Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Music and potentially Drama across Key Stages 3 to 5, depending on experience.
- Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to inspire and motivate students.
- Assess, monitor, and record the progress of students, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the department to review and enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
- Participate in and contribute to a range of extracurricular activities, events, and trips that enrich the students' learning experience.
- Proven experience in teaching Music at least to Key Stage 3; experience in Drama is advantageous.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A passion for Music and Drama and a commitment to developing this enthusiasm in students.
- Strong classroom management skills with a focus on fostering a positive learning environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the department's success.
