Office Administrator - Large Primary School in Reading
We are recruiting on behalf of a large, friendly, and welcoming primary school in Reading for an Office Administrator to join their dedicated team.

The Role:As Office Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for staff, parents, and visitors, ensuring the school office runs efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:- Acting as the first point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
- Managing incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate records, including attendance, safeguarding, and pupil data.
- Assisting with HR and finance administration, including processing invoices and managing staff records.
- Supporting the Headteacher and senior leadership team with administrative tasks.
- Organising meetings, events, and school trips, ensuring all arrangements run smoothly.
- Maintaining school supplies and resources, ensuring the office is well-equipped.
- Previous administrative experience, ideally in a school or busy office environment.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact confidently with staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and work under pressure.
- A friendly, professional, and welcoming approach with a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding in a school setting (training can be provided).
