Description

Key responsibilities of the Sales Office Manager include:

  • Ensuring the smooth running of the department on a day-to-day basis, liaising between clients and all other departments.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to improve and manage team performance.
  • To support the Director of Sales with show rounds, proposals, and up-selling.
  • Assess and respond to client inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Provide a courteous and efficient service and secure business at all times.
  • Provide fast, professional and friendly service to guests and customers by handling reservations, group bookings and contracts.
  • Create reservations and input via both telephone and email, ensuring that full and accurate details are obtained.
  • Deal with travel agent bookings, vouchers and credit requests, ensuring that the company's policy is adhered to at all times.
  • Accurate and timely responses to guests, clients and agents in line with their brand standards.
  • Update reservations, to input and record cancellations and amendments, making sure all bookings are accurate.
  • To assist colleagues and other members of staff to create teamwork and quality service through communication.
  • To adopt a 'can do' attitude towards all aspects of customer service through a proactive and flexible approach to meeting customer needs.

Profile

The successful Sales Office Manager will have:

  • Previous sales or customer service experience
  • Any hopsitality industry experience is highly desirable
  • The ability to persuade and influence effectively
