Our client based in Reading is currently recruiting for a full time HR Administrator. The position will be remote for 4 days and 1 day in the office per week. We are looking for someone to start work asap and it will be on-going. There could be a possibility of a permanent position at the end of the temporary assignment.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To provide a professional, accurate and timely HR administration support service to the HR team during a period of change and introduction of new systems.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Manage incoming HR enquiries via email and telephone, filtering queries to the appropriate HR Advisor/Team Member. Acting as gate keeper to ensure actions are closed down in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all Team member absences for example, sickness, holiday, unpaid leave etc providing reports to managers on a weekly basis and working with the HR Advisors to highlight any triggers that have been identified.
  • Maintain all employee files in accordance with The GDPR requirements
  • Support the HR Team with preparation of documentation such as letters, policies, training material etc
  • Conduct New Starter check in meetings - providing an accurate summary of key discussions and highlighting any areas of concern
  • Conduct Exit Interviews - providing an accurate summary of key discussions and highlighting any areas of concern

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Essential to have experience within an administrative support role within an HR Team setting
  • Passionate about providing the best possible service to managers and team members
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to mange multiple tasks in a timely manner
  • Able to work independently
  • Strong communicator both written and verbally
  • Strong grasp of all Microsoft packages, in particular Excel
