About the Role
We are seeking an Adult Social Care Lawyer with excellent working knowledge of key adult social care legislation, including age assessment cases and judicial review.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold a caseload of adult social care cases, including Care Act 2014, ordinary residence, deprivation of liberty, age assessments, and judicial review cases.
- Work as part of a team and meet tight deadlines.
- Provide advice to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Conduct your own advocacy or be willing to acquire the skills to undertake some advocacy.
About You
- Possess a valid practising certificate and authorisation to practice in England as a Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- Strong initiative and adaptability to change.
