Tutor (Maths, Science, English)

We are seeking dedicated Tutors in Maths, Science, and English to support children who are school refusers or significantly behind academically. This role requires a compassionate approach and a commitment to helping students achieve their potential through in-person tutoring.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Conduct engaging tutoring sessions in Maths, Science, and English tailored to the needs of each student.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to address gaps in knowledge and boost students' confidence.
  • Assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Provide feedback to students and possibly their guardians on academic progress.
  • Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment to help students stay motivated.
  • Collaborate with other educational professionals if needed to maximize learning outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Tutor or Teacher in Maths, Science, or English.
  • Strong understanding of the educational needs of children who are school refusers or academically behind.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of individual students.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to teaching.
