Tutor (Maths, Science, English)

We are seeking dedicated Tutors in Maths, Science, and English to support children who are school refusers or significantly behind academically. This role requires a compassionate approach and a commitment to helping students achieve their potential through in-person tutoring.

Day-to-day of the role:

Conduct engaging tutoring sessions in Maths, Science, and English tailored to the needs of each student.
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to address gaps in knowledge and boost students' confidence.
Assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Provide feedback to students and possibly their guardians on academic progress.
Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment to help students stay motivated.
Collaborate with other educational professionals if needed to maximize learning outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Tutor or Teacher in Maths, Science, or English.
Strong understanding of the educational needs of children who are school refusers or academically behind.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of individual students.
Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to teaching.
