Payroll & Accounts Administrator - Reading - £28,000 - £33,000

Wade Macdonald is collaborating with a dynamic company seeking a skilled payroll professional to join their team.

About the Job:

You will be responsible for providing full payroll and financial administration support.

Duties will include:

  • Processing new starters and leavers

  • Preparing payroll data

  • Calculating commissions, mileage deductions, and statutory payments

  • Inputting payroll information, submitting data to HMRC, and issuing payslips

  • Producing payroll reports

  • Managing payroll accruals

  • Supporting P11d and year-end payroll submissions

  • Overseeing daily banking, purchase ledger, and credit control tasks

About the Successful Applicant:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and thrive under pressure. Strong organisational abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role are essential. A relevant qualification or ongoing study is advantageous.
