A Reading based cosmetic medical and pharmaceutical supplier is on the lookout for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join the growing pharmacy team.

They are looking for a reliable, detail oriented individual who is capable of working in a compliant process driven environment. Responsibilities will include:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming product shipments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems.
  • Ensure all item match the accompanying documentation.
  • Safely and securely store pharmaceutical products in designated areas.
  • Monitor expiration dates and ensure proper rotation of stock.
  • Accurately pick and pack orders for delivery to various locations.
  • Provide final accuracy checks on stored and shipped products.
  • Prepare pharmaceutical products for shipment in compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experince in a pharmacy environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy loads.
  • NVQ 2 Qualified
  • ACT/ACDA Qualified.
