Spinwell is recruiting for a Supplier Operations Specialist for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SUPPLIER OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Contribute to the development of best practice processes and systems.

Work with the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to support functional governance.

Manage approved suppliers including supplier records and due diligence activities. Governance tasks as required in support of Commercial policies, processes and systems.

Develop and maintaining working relationships and awareness with key internal stakeholders.

Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.

Specific responsibilities will depend on the specialism but may include:

Support and contribute to reviews of Commercial processes and systems and provide user training if required.

Manage and maintain Commercial data e.g. electronic purchasing system, contractual/supplier records and/or document libraries.

Provision of both standard and bespoke business reports in accordance with the functional governance schedule or as required by line/task Manager.

Manage and record supplier on-boarding.

Ensure Commercial processes, tools and systems are understood and adhered to.

Promote and ensuring the use of a fully evaluated and approved supply base.

Work with key stakeholders to ensure the speedy resolution of queries.

Support change and championing best practice to promote the Commercial function.

Actively seek learning and development activities.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SUPPLIER OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Strong Administration skills

Ability to manage database recording and updating changes

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent communications skills

Comfortable working in a fast paced environment

Strong Stakeholder management skills
