The Role

As a Mechanical Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating a multi disciplined workforce and subcontractor work on various projects. You will ensure that all activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and promote a safe working site.
  • Schedule, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the site teams
  • Organise and monitor the work of sub-contractors on site.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved SSOW.
  • Day to day responsibility Requisition day-to day materials.
  • Conduct toolbox talks.
  • Lead by example, share and pass on knowledge to the site teams.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Mechanical background in construction/engineering
  • Team leader - able to communicate clearly and expressively
  • Good organisational skills
  • Capable of influencing
  • A full driving licence in essential
  • Works well under pressure
  • Experience in undertaking Principle Contractor duties.
  • A high Level of Computer literacy.
  • Able to achieve minimum level of Security Clearance.
  • Trade background
  • Qualification to prove competence
  • CCNSG or CSCS Card
  • SSSTS (Ideally)
  • AP(M) capability (Ideally)
