Our client, based in Reading, are looking for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to manage their ISO 9001 compliance for internal and external audits. This is an exciting and varied opportunity, allowing the successful candidate to take ownership of elements of inventory control and supplier management.
Title: ISO/ Quality Assurance Coordinator
Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 per annum
Location: Reading
Responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and implement quality management systems to ensure business compliance with ISO 9001 and other quality standards
- Conduct regular internal audits and prepare for external audits
- Identify and implement new quality control procedures - operational and systems
- Support with order/ inventory management
- Use Excel and ERP/MRP systems to extract and analyse inventory data
- Investigate and escalate queries surrounding supply chain and customs
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding supply chain
- Oversee procurement functions to ensure adequate stock levels and timely fulfilment of customer orders, managing any discrepancies
- Ensure all supplier agreements are up to date and valid
- Ensure both supplier and client delivery targets are met
- Ensure all inventory and procurement processes align with ISO 9001 and AS9120 standards, including full batch control, traceability, and documentation of Certificates of Conformity
What we are looking for:
- Experience working within a 9001 (and AS9120, preferred) certified environment, with a clear understanding of batch control and Certificates of Conformity
- Proven background in inventory control, purchasing, or supply chain management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Experience in managing supplier agreements, ensuring they remain valid and up to date
- Understanding of international shipping processes, including import regulations and customs clearance
- Highly detail-oriented and enjoy working with data, documentation, and compliance requirements
