Graduate Quantity Surveyor - Highways Surfacing
Location: Reading, UK
Salary: Up to £30,000
A dynamic and growing highways surfacing company based in Reading is looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to kickstart their career in the construction industry.
The Role
The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across a variety of commercial and financial aspects of quantity surveying. They will be responsible for:

- Assisting with cost management, valuations, and financial reporting
- Visiting sites to support project delivery and gain practical experience
- Handling administrative and coordination duties to ensure smooth project operations
- Working closely with senior staff to develop commercial awareness and technical skills
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying (essential)
- Previous surfacing experience is desirable but not essential
- A strong desire to learn and progress within the industry
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to be hands-on, both on-site and in the office
