Responsibilities
  • Effective cost control of housing projects
  • Preparation of estimates and contract documentation
  • Financial management of contractors and suppliers
  • Ensuring payments comply with Council regulations
  • Developing, managing, and operating Schedule of Rates
  • Monitoring external contractor/supply chain costs
  • Providing professional and technical advice to Councillors and Officers
  • Managing tender procedures, assessments, and contract documents
  • Overseeing the trade productivity scheme
Requirements
  • Relevant industry qualification (RICS/BSc/HND/HNC)
  • Experience in procurement and contract management
  • Budgetary control experience
  • Knowledge of statutory legislation and building regulations
