We are working alongside a highly regarded secondary school in Berkshire that is looking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher starting ASAP. This will be a full-time position on a long-term supply contract. It will be initially for 1 term with the potential to go permanent through the school.

Requirements:

  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level (Key Stages 3 and 4; Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential).
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons that cater to students of varying abilities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of a cohesive and high-quality curriculum.
  • Participate in school activities, parent evenings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Promote a positive classroom culture that encourages curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning.
