Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring Design Technology lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
- Engage students in practical and theoretical learning, ensuring they develop both skills and understanding in Design Technology.
- Assess and record students' progress, providing feedback to foster their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary approaches into the curriculum.
- Participate in and contribute to staff meetings and professional development sessions.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Design Technology or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Design Technology at secondary level.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
