A respected educational institution in Reading is seeking a PE Teacher for a temporary position. They are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with prior UK teaching experience to lead and inspire students in physical education.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons that develop students' physical skills and enhance their understanding of health and fitness.
- Assess and record students' progress, providing feedback to help them improve their performance.
- Organise and coordinate sports events and activities, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship among students.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for all physical activities.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate physical education with other curricular activities.
- Manage sports equipment and resources, ensuring they are used safely and effectively.
- Proven experience as a PE Teacher within the UK.
- Strong knowledge of physical education curriculum and safety regulations.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and sustain the interest of students in physical activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willing to undergo checks).
