Based: Reading town centre (no parking)

Working for a highly prestigious law firm you will be supporting the Dispute Resolution team. Our client is seeking an experienced secretary with strong audio and typing ability. Full and part time applications will be considered.

Your role:

  • Producing documents and correspondence as directed by the solicitors

  • Efficient handling of telephone enquiries and calls

  • Provision of assistance to and dealing with tasks as delegated

  • File administration and data management

  • Provision of secretarial cover in nearby departments when required

The person:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a good typing speed (at least 60 wpm) and accuracy

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Word and other Office products and ideally experience of working with a practice management system or large database

  • Experience of working in a professional environment, preferably in a law firm

  • Enthusiastic, flexible and efficient with a helpful and friendly manner when dealing with clients and colleagues

  • Good team player with willingness to offer support to others in the team
