Rocasa Consulting is seeking a Housing Support Worker in Reading to assist young vulnerable adults in Supported Housing.
The position offers a salary of £13.25 per hour (PAYE) with shifts available for both Day and Night Support Workers.
The service provides 40 beds and aims to support individuals with low to medium support needs.
Candidates must have prior experience working with vulnerable people and possess excellent communication skills to manage challenging behavior.
An Enhanced DBS (Children and Adults) is required for this role.

Rocasa Consulting are currently looking for a Housing Support Worker in Reading.

This will be supporting young vulnerable adults in Supported Housing.

Salary: £13.25 per hour (PAYE)

Shifts: Day and Night Support Workers

Job Details: The service offers 40 bed housing, and its aim is to support young people who have low to medium support needs. The right person will need to do the following.

• Patrol the site ensuring it’s safe and raising concern for any potential issues

• Report any anti-social issues as they arise and record them.

• Maintain accurate records on the computer system.

• Record any accidents or incidents in the correct manner.

Requirements: The right person for the job will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal as well as the ability to deal with challenging behaviour in a calm manner. You will also need to have previous experience working with vulnerable people.

Enhanced DBS (Children and Adults) is Required
