We are currently looking for a dedicated person to join our team in the position of a Behaviour Support Assistant in November 2024. The role is located in a specialist education setting, catering to students aged 4-16 years old. The Behaviour Support Assistant position focuses on building trust and rapport, developing independence and motivating students throughout their education.
- Supporting learners who are facing challenges with behaviour management and displays
- Assisting students learning healthy coping mechanisms and emotional regulation
- Tracking progress and implementing education plans
- Practice effective communication skills to resolve conflicts
- Motivate students to develop independence and engagement with learning material

Key qualities of a Behaviour Support Assistant are that you are sure of yourself, have an extroverted nature, value trust and relationships and have patience for those struggling!
Experience supporting children on a personal or professional level is very beneficial but not mandatory. Relevant education or previous experience is welcomed.
