Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist in planning and delivering lessons under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Help develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Support the classroom environment to ensure it is conducive to learning.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
  • Proven experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies.
