Westlakes Recruit is currently recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist on a contract basis, to be located in Reading.
The role:
* This role sits within the Process and Performance Excellence Team.
* It is looking at the Governance which supports the Procurements, rather than the Procurement itself.
Main duties are:
* Governance for procurements that are going through individual procurement regulations.
* Stakeholder/Account management
* Making sure stakeholders are aware of changes regarding governance.

* Governance experience
* Stakeholder engagement (Internal and external)
* Understanding Governance in the commercial sector/procurements
Essential:
* Governance Experience

* Understanding governance, commercial sector, procurements
* Previously have implemented and managed a governance and compliance service for strategic procurements.
* Experience of governance processes within a procurement or commercial environment
* Experience working on complex and high value procurement projects.
* Experience in delivering business change / continuous improvement programmes.
* Information security and/or governance knowledge.
* Multi-tasking
* Effective communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
* Able to support a team.
* Organising, planning, and effectively implementing projects and tasks.
Desirable:
* PCR 2015
* CIPS Level 4
