Job Opportunity: Surface Mount Operator (Temporary to Permanent)
We are currently seeking an immediate starting Surface Mount Operator for our client based in Reading. This is a temporary to permanent position with a company known for its great team culture and positive work environment-a place where employees tend to stay due to the fantastic company vibe.
You will be joining a small, dynamic team of 3 people, where teamwork is key.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment.
- Perform quality inspections and troubleshoot any issues.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and safety protocols.
- Soldering or desoldering components: Replacing or fixing faulty solder connections or components.
- Inspecting and testing: Identifying issues such as short circuits, improper connections, or other defects.
- Component replacement: Replacing damaged or malfunctioning components (e.g., resistors, capacitors, microchips).
- Circuit repair: Fixing broken traces or wiring on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Hours:Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00Friday: 07:30 - 13:30Pay:£25,000 - £26,000 per annum
