Job Opportunity: Associate Town Planner - Reading
Are you an experienced Town Planner looking to take your career to the next level? We are working with a leading consultancy, based in Reading, that is seeking an Associate Town Planner to join their dynamic and growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of planning projects, offering strategic advice to clients across various sectors.
- Provide high-quality planning and development advice, ensuring compliance with local policies and regulations.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to develop their skills.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for projects.
- Take a proactive approach to business development, helping to build long-term relationships and identify new opportunities.
Requirements:
- MRTPI (or working towards) with a relevant degree in Town Planning or related discipline.
- Proven experience within a planning consultancy, local authority, or development sector.
- Strong understanding of UK planning regulations and policies, particularly within the South East.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.
- A driven, self-motivated individual with a passion for delivering results.
