Logical Personnel Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering company.
We have a position for an Administrator in Redcar.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a very busy office environment, preferably from within an engineering based setting. We would like to speak to candidates with a proactive approach, detailed record keeping, who can work to deadlines and juggle multiple open items as well as doing the boring admin duties such as filing. Preferably with procurement experience.
Duties involved:
- Progressing overdue deliveries
- Expediting future / critical deliveries
- Raising requisitions and purchase orders.
- Contractor time sheet reconciliation
- Filing
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Supplier master-data maintenance
- Obtaining quotes from Suppliers and Client approvals.
- Record keeping, producing reports and providing information packages as required
- Taking responsibility for initiating and completing tasks and decision making
Details:
- 37.5 hours a week.
- Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm with 30 minute unpaid lunch break
- Must hold GCSE A - C (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office IT packages, Excel, Word Outlook, PowerPoint and TEAMS
- Building and maintaining good working relationships within the business, with suppliers and external customers
- Communicating at different levels throughout the business, verbally, e-mails, memos and letters.
- Providing day to day support across the business
- This is initially a temporary position that has the potential to become permanent.
Due to location, there is no direct public transport to the office. Own transport or assistance to site is necessary.
