We are recruiting for a Firm of Chartered Accountants based in Redditch who are seeking an Accounts/Audit Senior to join their Firm.
Responsibilities:
- You will work with a broad range of OMB to SME clients from a broad range of sectors.
- Awareness of statutory requirements and submission to Companies House.
- Retain responsibility for own work and that of audit juniors.
- Scrutinise client records and document findings in a clear and concise manner for conclusion.
- Responsible for the preparation of tax returns.
- Visiting client’s premises to carry out audit work where necessary, including stock take attendances
- Review of audit and accounts work undertaken by junior members of the team.
Requirements:
- Ideally ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Organised.
- Excellent interpersonal Skills.
- Flexibility.
- Commitment.
- Team Player.
- Familiarity of Microsoft Office packages in particular Excel.
- Availability to work overtime and travel to client offices.
