We are currently working in partnership with a further educational institution with four campuses across Worcestershire, who are looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis.

This will be a full-time position based in Redditch, with hybrid working (2/3 days home working) and an hourly rate equivalent to £27,920.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Assisting in the monthly management accounts production including gathering, analysis and distribution of financial information
  • Supporting with the set up of management accounts files and budgets, ensuring balance
  • Attending meetings with budget holders and responding to their queries on appropriate resolutions
  • Assisting with the budget setting process and maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
  • Reconciling control accounts on a monthly basis
  • Assisting with month and year end procedures
  • Posting cash onto the general ledger and assisting with AR duties

Experience required:

  • Experience within management accounts

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Adaptable and self sufficient
