Location: Redditch Salary: £38,000-£45,000Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Our client, a well-established company is looking for a Cost Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting.

• Managing cost accounting processes, including standard costing and variance analysis.

• Overseeing inventory control, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation.

• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process with financial analysis.

• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

• Preparing financial reports and providing insights to senior management.

• Assisting with external audits and regulatory reporting.

• Collaborating with operations teams to improve cost efficiency and business performance.

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification (or working towards) preferred.

• Strong cost accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.

• Knowledge of SOX compliance and financial controls.

• Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
