Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Administrator to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the financial decision-making process. This position requires a strong understanding of financial principles and excellent organisational skills to maintain accurate financial documentation, being able to present this data to the senior management team on a weekly and monthly basis.

DutiesAnd Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in budget preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in forecasting future financial trends.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial matters.
  • Type letters, reports, file notes and undertake other general administrative duties in line with the clients requirements.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a finance or accounting environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
  • A relevant qualification in finance or accounting would be advantageous but is not essential.
