The main functions of the role include
- Working within metal fabrications
- work out blank sizes and bend allowances
- interpret manufacturing/ optimisation lists and specifications
- Understanding contents of supplier manuals in order to complete the required methods of fabrication
- read and recognise profile orientations and technical drawings
- Manual handling and ability to use one or more of the following:
- Working knowledge of CNC machines
- Knowledge of Health and Safety
- ability to lift heavy materials and tools (in excess of 22kg/ 50lbs)
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Accurate and strong attention to detail
- Strong Team player
- Good communication skills
The hours for this role are 0700-1600 Mon-Thurs and 0700 - 1500 on Fridays
The pay-rate on offer is up to £14 an hour
