- My client based in the Redditch area is seeking a Press Break Operative on a Temp to Perm basis.
- Candidates should have previous experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- The position involves working within metal fabrications, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding supplier manuals.
- The pay rate for this role is up to £14 an hour, and candidates must be able to lift heavy materials exceeding 22kg/50lbs.
- The working hours are 0700-1600 from Monday to Thursday and 0700-1500 on Fridays.
The main functions of the role include
- Working within metal fabrications
- work out blank sizes and bend allowances
- interpret manufacturing/ optimisation lists and specifications
- Understanding contents of supplier manuals in order to complete the required methods of fabrication
- read and recognise profile orientations and technical drawings
- Manual handling and ability to use one or more of the following:
- Working knowledge of CNC machines
- Knowledge of Health and Safety
- ability to lift heavy materials and tools (in excess of 22kg/ 50lbs)
As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

The hours for this role are 0700-1600 Mon-Thurs and 0700 - 1500 on Fridays
